Wir- Melanie und Christian Gschwendtner- begrüßen Sie ganz herzlich als unsere Gäste auf dem Obersteinberg-Hof Ruhpolding und möchten Ihnen einen möglichst angenehmen und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bereiten.
Mit unseren Kindern leben wir als 14. Generation am Obersteinberg-Hof und da am Hof "die Arbeit nie ausgeht" sind auch unsere Kinder immer mit dabei. Alle Generationen helfen mit.
Our holiday flats all have a balcony with mountain and valley views as well as seating, parasol and clothes horse. Our kitchens are all equipped with a kitchenette with 4 hobs (some with oven), dishwasher, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, bread slicer.
A bread roll delivery service from the regional artisan bakery Kreidl (except Sundays and public holidays) is available on request.
We provide free WLAN, SAT-TV (flat screen TV), stereo system and tiled stove in two of our holiday flats. Some of the flats are equipped with a safe.
Towels, bed linen, cleaning products (washing-up liquid, soap) and tea towels are provided
Hairdryer, make-up mirror and cosmetic tissues are available in the bathroom.
The holiday flats have a guest folder with current brochures. The digital guest folder and morning post of the Tourist-Info Ruhpolding can be used on invitation.
Free parking spaces are available at the accommodation
Baby/toddler equipment (baby cot, baby bed linen, baby duvet and pillow, high chair, potty, toilet seat, step stool and nappy pail available on request) is available on request.
Some games, colouring materials and books are available in the rooms.
We have a spacious play and sunbathing lawn and panoramic sunbathing area with mountain and valley views.

There is a children's playground behind the house.

We - Melanie and Christian Gschwendtner - warmly welcome you as our guests at the Obersteinberg-Hof Ruhpolding and would like to make your stay as pleasant and unforgettable as possible.
We are the 14th generation to live with our children at the Obersteinberg-Hof and as work never runs out at the farm, our children are always involved. All generations help out. Without the many helping hands, it would be difficult to manage the work that needs to be done.
From the beautiful gardens and beds - from the hillside garden to those on the house wall or our balcony flowers to the wonderful, seasonally adapted and very tasteful decorations - we can look forward to the expert support of Grandma Claudia, who carefully tends and cares for all the plants.
Grandad Berti is always on hand to help with the hay harvest, caring for our Koima (female cattle) and our Haflinger horses and is an indispensable help.
And the children also help out - whether it's (sometimes unintentionally) switching off the washing machines and dryers, planting in the garden, feeding the animals or littering the barn with the children's snow shovel.

We are happy to take you to our pastures in summer when we look after our cattle, horses and foals. They are particularly happy when you bring them muesli and mineral feed or a few dry pretzels for the cattle. Our cuddly cats are also always happy to be played with and stroked. If you would like to help feed the cattle in the stable during the stable season (end of October to beginning of May), we are always happy to take you along and explain everything you need to know about our animals, feeding and much more. A ride on our bulldog (tractor) is also always possible for brave young tractor drivers when we are with the machines. If you would like to join us in the summer and help us rake the hay by hand - as it was done in former times - you are welcome to join in with suitable footwear and sun protection after a short instruction session.
